ExamView Assessment Suite

ExamView Test Generator is the premier test generator chosen by over 52 publishers for more than 5,400 textbooks. For each textbook, the publishers have created hundreds of questions that are correlated to each chapter, making it possible for teachers and instructors to create ready-made customized objective tests or lessons quickly and efficiently. Question types include multiple choice, true/false, matching, and numeric. These questions can be imported and delivered exclusively with eInstruction’s CPS.

It is possible that you may have ExamView with your textbook, whether it is one of the 1,772 K-12 textbooks or one of the 2,647 Higher Ed textbooks. Over half a million educators have ExamView with their textbooks. You can check to see if your book is included at ExamView’s TitleTrack.

ExamView Assessment Suite is a program that includes the ExamView Test Generator plus the ExamView Test Player and ExamView Test Manager. Together these applications enable you to quickly create printed tests and administer them with CPS, on the Internet or computer (LAN-based) as well as analyze the results. Other features include:

· Customize questions in a full-featured word processor.

· Select questions from 14 formats including Multiple Response, Bimodal, and Dynamic.

· Save questions in Question Banks for compilation into multiple study guides and tests.

· Administer tests on paper, over local area network, or online.

· Grade tests through a variety of scanning methods, track progress, and generate reports–all in one pro

ExamView Learning Series

The ExamView Learning Series is a collection of unique, high-quality questions that can be used for daily monitoring of student achievement and progress in the classroom. The Learning Series works in concert with ExamView Assessment Suite to produce study guides and formative and summative assessments using questions that are organized by discipline and aligned with state academic standards. With the Learning Series, educators can create assessments that measure and promote progress on academic standards at different cognitive levels.

· It includes over 9,500 test questions in math, reading, science, and social studies.

· Dynamic new questions can be instantly generated to assess the same concepts using different values, units of measure, graphs, text, and answer choices. With added variations from dynamic content, thousands of questions are available for each grade and subject area.

· The Learning Series works with the ExamView Assessment Suite, ExamView QuickTake Presenter, and MindPoint Quiz Show.

· Cross-curricular reading passages include questions that assess higher-order thinking skills.

· The Learning Series contains question types similar to those typically found on states' high-stakes tests including Multiple Choice, Short Answer (Short Response), Essay (Extended Response), and Numeric Response (Gridded Response).

· The Learning Series questions are presented as situational problems that reflect real life and incorporate cross-curricular subjects. This reinforces the practical side of knowledge by presenting questions to students in relevant, useful, and interesting contexts. It encourages students to apply their skills and knowledge to the everyday world.

ExamView and the Classroom Performance System

Only eInstruction’s Classroom Performance System (CPS) response pad technology features seamless integration with ExamView products, including the ExamView Assessment Suite and the ExamView Learning Series. Seamless integration with ExamView means:

· The fastest, easiest way to use ExamView-formatted questions and content. Only CPS can open ExamView question banks directly, requiring no intervention or makeshift intermediate steps.

· It works with content from all versions of the ExamView Suite. Only CPS works with questions from all releases – from v1 to the most recent v6.1 – of the ExamView Suite.

· An accurate display of questions. CPS uses the unique ExamView Suite word processor to display ExamView -formatted questions. Without seamless integration, questions will not display correctly and will not include all related question information (i.e., metadata).
